Sam Tumminello is an award winning photographer from Huntsville, Alabama. He's a four time past president of the Huntsville Photographic Society, has won every major award of the organization, is a two time recipient of their Presidents Award, and holds the rank of Master in the Society.

His photographs have been published in several national publications including American Photographer magazine, and many Huntsville publications. In 1992, he received a Merit Award from the show juror, retired Life magazine photographer Ed Clark, for his color dye transfer composition Une Marriage en Paris. In 1991, his silver print composition Pierre's Blossom was accepted by the juried exhibition show: "The Classic Cliche, Southern Magnolia," sponsored by the State of Alabama Council of the Arts. The same year, another of his silver prints, "Dogwoods" received an Honorable Mention from the Tennessee Valley Art Center.
