How to use the Galleries

The Galleries contain artwork, photos and animations. If the page doesn't fit your screen, you can reset your monitor to show a higher resolution which will make everything look smaller. The galleries are best viewed with a 17" monitor. (Or, an ACME 60x30M Photon HD Holographic Self-Scaling Sky Monitor hooked up to an ACME PU238 Hyper-Drive wrist box, fanny pack or forehead chip delivering a connection speed of 1M terabytes/zeptosecond, but I don't think those will be on the market for awhile yet.)

Note: images and captions are set to "preload" when a gallery page is accessed. In general, the order moves from left to right and top to bottom and uses approximately 1.8 mb per gallery. The first few images should appear quickly when clicked, but the rest may seem to not work at all until the rest of the preload is complete. Sometimes it might seem like the wrong captions have appeared because the correct ones haven't yet loaded. Patience is a must. Once the entire gallery has loaded into your cache, you will enjoy instant-click gratification.

How to navigate the site

The logotype area in the upper left corner of each page will always lead to the starting page of Coyote Creek Online. Icons / thumbnails function as clickable buttons for bringing up larger images, notes or a new page. Some thumbnails have mouseovers that display a title in the caption bar so you can see where the link goes before you click.

Arrows lead to new galleries in a rotating sequence relating to that category, such as the right-pointing arrow to take you to the next gallery in the "people" sequence, or the left-pointing arrow to take you back to the previous gallery. The up-pointing arrow leads to the starting page of the sequence.
