2 May 1929

On last Friday afternoon, the Oneonta Chapter of the U.D.C. placed markers at the graves of George D. Clowdus, Frank Fendley, S.W. Guthrie and G.B. Stephens. These veterans have died during the past two years and their graves had not been marked with the Confederate cross.

All the graves of the Confederate dead in the local cemetery have now been marked.
