Ebel Cemetery
Township 9 South, Range 2 East, Section 20
Location: From Summit, County Road 25 Northeast toward Red Hill, about one mile from the Marshall County line, left onto dirt road; cemetery is on the right about 75 yards, Blount County, Alabama.
Another set of graves are located along a sloping ridge about 100 yards Northwest of the ones near the road. As of 16 Feb 2002, this cemetery was in an extreme state of disrepair. The monuments are scattered, broken, and half buried. More monuments than the ones listed here are probably buried in the dirt which is located in an open pasture. The landowners have stated they intend to fence off and restore the cemetery.(© 2003 - 2006 Robin Sterling)
