Cemetery has almost been destroyed by livestock in an open pasture.

Some of the county maps refer to this small family cemetery as the Curl Cemetery. However, according to Jack Chamblee, the land for this cemetery was originally owned by Isham Chamblee who settled in this cove about 1817. He lived there until his death in 1852. His original cabin still stands nearby. Living on land adjacent to Isham Chamblee were the Edwards and Bland family. The Curl family didn't move to the cove until about the time of the Civil War.
