THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE 60th D-DAY COMMEMORATION


       The  pictures presented on the following pages were taken to document the 60th Anniversary of D-Day. The pictures show present day images of the Cherbourg Peninsula including Utah beach, Omaha Beach, the American  Cemetery in Normandy at  Colleville  sur Mer, and an assortment of town and villages including  St. Mere Eglise.  The photographs were taken between the 5 and the 7 of June, 2004.
