"Vanna"

Pedigree

Vanna was Kate's first Aussie, and the love of her life for many, many years.  Vanna had that "old style" Aussie temperament, that we continue to look for today.  She was fiercely independant, but even so was training for Agility at age 11, shortly before acute onset pancreatitis took her life.  She was also Kate's first obedience dog, and when Kate was 9 years old, Vanna -- all 45 pounds of her -- saved Kate's life from a convicted Child Molester.  Vanna also worked stock, and Kate jokingly tells tales of having to remove Bovine hair from between Vanna's front teeth regularly.  She was loyal to her family, and only "associated" with a few people she deemed worthy of being her "friends". 

Vanna's temperament is what we strive to produce here at Vanity;  undyingly loyal to their owners, suspicous of strangers, independant yet biddable, with conformation, health and working instinct intact.  We look forward to developing a breeding program with Vanna as our background.  Through her son Seamus and with backcrosses to Briarbrooks, AJ and Wyndridge lines, we hope that our dreams will become a reality.
