Sponsorships

Our rescue organization is mainly funded through sponsorships, as well as our own money.  We charge an adoption fee for every animal that we place, but this fee doesn't cover all of our expenses only the medical ones.  Sometimes there are Scotties that for medical or behavioral reasons can not be adopted out.  These Scotties spend the rest of their days here at STRNA where they are comfortable and loved.  So sometimes we can use a little helping hand around here to keep all our rescues comfortable, and supplied with all the things that they need.  Here are the ways that we find it most helpful to Sponsor some of our animals.

Give a one time love gift of any amount.  And don't worry, we don't use mailing lists or anything like that, so we won't be bothering you for more money once you give one time.  However if you would like to be notified of how your love gift was used or specify who you would like to help with your love gift, we will be happy to keep in touch with you and let you know.

Sponsor a specific animal - right now we have a gentleman that has been "retired to rescue"  his name is McGuffin.  McGuffin is a 7 year old Scottish Terrier, who due to dog aggression problems will not be placed. He will need yearly medical treatment such as shots, worming, heartworm medicine and so on.  For as little as $20 a month, he can be given all the food, medical attention, medication and supplies that he needs.

Send a care package - if you aren't comfortable sending money, then send a care package.  Packages can be anything you decide to put together for a specific animal or for the group.  Please see our list of needs below for suggestions and ideas.
