Creating a Resume for your pet might just give you an edge in finding a place that will let you rent with a pet.  This quick and simple resume tells your potential landlord just about everything he needs to know about your pet, which could make all the difference in getting them to let you rent there.  Here is an example of a pet Resume.  You may change this one to suit your needs.

Description:

Medical:
Buster is currently on flea prevention and up to date on his vaccinations and heartworm medication. He is a patient of Dr. Webber, DVM.  He has been neutered since 6 months of age. 

Training:
Buster  is housetrained.  He has graduated from a beginners obedience class given by XYZ Obedience Academy and has passed his Canine Good Citizen test.  Copies are attached.  

Owners:
The Davis's are long time pet owners.  They have always been good to keep their yard clean, and pick up after Buster where ever he went. When the travel, Buster usually goes with them, if not a professional pet sitter checks in on him and gives him his daily walks.  The Davis's are willing to pay an additional fee for the privilege of keeping Buster.

Our current landlord can be reached at 555-2222 and attached you will find references from our current neighbors and from our Veterinarian certifying that Buster is neutered, on flea prevention and up to date on his yearly vaccinations.
