Lesson 9 - Bailey's Bad Boy
Introduction
A spoiled rich kid named Ronald Bailey is arrested after speeding through Mayberry on his
way to Miami. Bailey is also accused of sideswiping Fletch Dilbecks produce truck.
He denies the speeding, reckless driving, and hit-and-run charges until an incriminating
stalk of celery in the back of his convertible does him in. Once Ron is arrested, Andy
tells him hell be locked up in the Mayberry jail for a few days until Circuit Judge
Parker arrives for the trial. Bailey, acting like the smart-aleck 19 year old he is,
threatens Andy by calling his influential father, John Judson Bailey, who according to Ron
has the power to strip Andy and Barney of their jobs...
