Jennifer
Jones
My
all time favorite classic actress, Jennifer Jones has fascinated me
since high school. She appeared in a wide range of roles, from her poignant
portrayal of Bernadette Soubirous in The Song of Bernadette (for
which she won the Academy Award) to her ethereal role as Jennie
in the classic Portrait of Jennie. Jones had a unique quality
that is seldom seen in film. When I could not find any web sites about
her, I decided to create one myself, and this is what got me started!
The site contains an extensive biography, detailed filmography, and
portraits and memorabilia, most from my personal collection. Site launched
February 1998.

Greta
Garbo - The Ultimate Star
That
face, that voice! There will never be another star like Garbo. She is
the most mesmerizing and hypnotic actress ever to grace the screen and
her elusive lifestyle following her retirement just added to her legend.
My site contains a timeline, a detailed filmography, profiles of her
leading men and portraits taken by some of the most famous Hollywood
photographers of her day. Site launched August 1998.

of her numerous marriages. Site launched January 1999.

Deborah
Kerr
This
genteel and intelligent British actress was one of the top female actresses
during the 50s in Hollywood and is widely admired by fans all over the
world today. One of my favorite films is Black Narcissus, and
I have since sought out more of her films. My other favorites are
An Affair to Remember, The Innocents and Heaven Knows
Mr. Allison. Site includes a biography, a listing of her films,
quotes and a gallery of portraits. Site launched June 1999.

Dorothy
Dandridge - A Life Unfulfilled
Dorothy
Dandridge was the first African American woman to win an Oscar nomination
as Best Actress (for Carmen Jones in 1954). Her luminous beauty
and extraordinary talent was essentially wasted in an era in which black
actors and actresses struggled to find good roles in Hollywood. Dandridge's
life was tragic and short lived. My site includes a biography, a small
gallery of portraits, a listing of her films and a fan forum. Site launched
July 1999.

Greer
Garson
Another
extraordinary British actress and personality, Greer Garson was one
of the top box office attractions during the 1940s. Her Academy Award
winning performance in 1942 for Mrs. Miniver, about a British
families experiences during World War II deeply touched filmgoers at
the time. The site contains a biography, portraits, and a detailed filmography.
Site launched January 2000.

ties with the University of North Alabama and he donated his scripts
to the University in 1999. The Borgnine site (part of the UNA LIbraries
site, contains a biography, listing of his films and a gallery of photos.

Jessica
Lange
I
didn't really exhaust my resources of classic film actors when I decided
to do a site on Jessica Lange. She is my favorite contemporary actress
and I think no actress today can hold a candle to her, except for maybe
Meryl Streep. The intensity she puts into her performances is always
astonishing. Sites contains a biography, gallery, detailed filmography
and links. Site launched February 2001.

A

My
personal site and my other passion - gardening. This was the first web

I had so much fun creating the site that it turned into yet another
hobby! Site launched December 1997.
I
recently started a blog
to document by gardening activities.
