THANKS TO BOB MARSHALL ,WE ARE PRIVILEGED TO SOME CLASSIC CARTOONS FROM THE 1950's and 60's
Bob, was with the 1/502,
first D Co. then HH Co. from '62 to '64. Did JUMP SCHOOL @ Ft. Benning.
 
Now you might wonder about the 502 patch, as I did , so I asked
Bob about it.
Here's his reply:
"The SKULL & BATWINGS patch is from
502 PIR/101st ABN from WW2. We used it in the 60's, we were told it was
not an "AUTHORIZED" Patch ....like we gave a shit....it was
cool ! Enough said.
