CHECKING OUT RESOURCE MATERIALS IS EASY!

• The resource library room is accessible through the DHR lobby. As you enter the lobby, the door to the library is on the right.
• On the table is a list of materials in the library. They are organized by the Dewey Decimal system. Each shelf is labeled with a topic.
• Videos are color coded for appropriate age levels:
  • Orange – Prenatal/Newborn/Preschool
  • Green - Elementary (K - 6)
  • Yellow - Jr. high/high school
  • Pink - Adults and professionals
• To borrow materials, fill out a check-out form on the table.
• List the titles of the items you would like to borrow.
• Leave the form with the receptionist in the lobby on your way out.
• Materials can be checked out for two weeks. Return them to the receptionist.
• A complete online listing of all Resource Materials is now available!
• A printed copy of these inventory lists will also be in the Resource Library.

RESOURCE LIBRARY QUICK FACTS!
• Almost 800 items are available!
• About 600 items are for use by adults or professionals.
• There are over 100 books and videos for children.
• The children’s books are now located on a separate shelf.
• About 70 videos, DVDs, and books are targeted to a teenage audience.
• Social workers, foster parents, and college students check out materials regularly.
• Anyone in the Jackson County community is welcome to use the library!
• There are numerous FREE easy-to-read Scriptographic pamphlets available.
• There are over 60 different subjects available!
